I have been a teacher for many years working in Baltimore City and in Howard County before taking time off from work to take care of my two daughters, Emily and Sophie. I enjoy gardening, running, cooking, and vacations. Every year our family goes to Maine where we hike, swim, and eat lobster. I am happy to be part of the Talbott Springs family!

I have been working at Talbott Springs for six years. I was a kindergarten para- educator for one year and special education para-educator for five years. Prior to this, I was a director of a child care center for six years. Presently I am working towards a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education. This year, I will be doing an internship in Mrs. Bailey’s classroom. My hobbies are travelling and reading but most of all, I enjoy working with children. I am so excited to be a part of the Talbott Spring’s Family!

Hi! I am a student at UMBC, working toward my Masters of Art in Teaching Early Childhood Education. I was lucky enough to work with the second grade team during Spring 2013 for the first phase of my internship. This Fall, for my final semester before graduation, I will be interning in Mrs. Batman's classroom for the first 8 weeks and then moving to Mrs. Lauer's PreK classroom for the final 8 weeks. I grew up in Howard County, graduated from Wilde Lake High and attended college at James Madison University in Virginia. I graduated in 2008 with a BA in Psychology. I enjoy reading, playing and coaching soccer, cooking and spending time with my family and friends! I am very excited to be working with the entire team of staff and students at Talbott Springs!
